Prof. Polyvia Parara delivered four presentations from November 2023 to March 2024 in several events..

Dr Polyvia Parara presented her paper, “Exploring Interlanguage Translation as a Tool of Foreign in Language Pedagogy,” at the 10th Biennial Modern Greek Studies Association Workshop in Pedagogy, which took place at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from November 10 to 11, 2023. The workshop was organized by the Modern Greek Studies Association and hosted by the Modern Greek Studies Program and the Comparative Literature Department at the University of Michigan.

She also participated with a paper via Zoom at the 3rd Symposium of Cosmosystemic Gnoseology “Parnassus,” Athens, Greece, on December 8-9, 2023. Her paper was titled "The Modernity of Greek Dramatic Poetry from the Angle of Cosmosystemic Gnoseology.”

In addition, Dr. Polyvia Parara presented at the 2nd Online International Conference on "Modern Practices in Teaching of Greek as a Second/Foreign Language," organized by the University of Western Macedonia, Greece, on January 27-28, 2024. Her paper was titled “The Teaching Methodology of the Greek Verbal System in Acquiring Modern Greek as a Foreign Language.”

Lastly, Dr. Polyvia Parara was invited by the Greek American Associations of the DC Metropolitan area to be the keynote speaker at the 203rd Celebration of the Greek War of Independence, which took place on March 25, 2024, at the Hellenic Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Her speech was "1821: The War of Independence and the Freedom of the Greeks."
