The annual Kress Lecture of the Archaeological Institute of America, to be delivered by Alexander Mazerakis Ainian, is being co-sponsored by the Washington, D.C. chapter of the AIA, the Department of Classics, and the Department of Art History and Archaeology.  The title is “Apollo and Artemis on Kythnos: Findings from the Excavation of a Greek Island Sanctuary.”  The talk will be preceded at 7:00 by a reception to which all are welcome.
