Celebration of Festschrift in honor of Judith Hallett

A Festschrift is a volume of essays honoring the career achievements of a distinguished scholar. Such a volume is being published this year in honor of our very own Professor Judith Hallett. Edited by Donald Lateiner, Barbara K. Gold, and Judith Perkins and published by Routledge, it is entitled "Roman Literature, Gender, and Rceeption: Domina Illustris."

The Department of Classics plans to celebrate its publication with a panel presentation to be followed by a reception.

The event, co-sponsored by the Classics Department and the Center for Literary and Comparative Studies.
