Washington Ancient Mediterranean Studies seminar
The Washington (DC) Ancient Mediterranean Seminar is pleased to invite you to its second session:
Francisco Barrenechea, Assistant Professor, Department of Classics, University of Maryland, College Park, will present a version of his paper, "Numinous Wealth: Rethinking a Personification in Aristophanes."
A response will be presented by David Konstan, Professor Emeritus, Department of Classics, Brown University, and Professor of Classics, New York University.
WAMS seminars involve a 20-minute presentation of a pre-circulated paper, followed by a 20-minute response, a discussion period, and a reception. Attendees will receive a Google link to the paper and more detailed directions to the event when they RSVP.
