Three graduate students and five undergraduate students of the Department of Classics have graduated in May 2016.

The Department of Classics is pleased to announce the availability of undergraduate Latin scholarships.

Elliott Rebello, a Classics and Neurobiology double major, has received the De Luca Award from the Italian Cultural Society.

Talia Chicherio and Allison Goldstein-Berger, both graduate students in the Department of Classics, are the winners of the fifth annual essay contest in Comparative Literature.

Talia Chicherio, an M.A. candidate of the University of Maryland’s Classics Department, was chosen to work on The Gabii Project in Latium, Italy over the summer of 2015.

On May 22, 2015 the Department of Classics celebrated the awarding of three Masters and six Bachelors degrees with a ceremony and reception in the Prince George's Room of the Stamp Student Union.
