Professor Bravo has been awarded a Tier 1 Seed Grant from the University of Maryland to support his work at the site of Kenchreai, the eastern port of ancient Corinth in Greece.

Professor Judith Hallett

Professor Judith P. Hallett of the University of Maryland, College Park, Classics Department is the recipient of the 2015 Lambda Classical Caucus (LCC) Activism Award.

Professor Bravo received a RASA award from the University of Maryland graduate school for spring 2015. The award will enable Professor Bravo to spend the semester on focused research for a book on ancient Greek funeral games and their relation to the construction of social memory.

A celebration was held to mark the publication of "Roman Literature, Gender, and Reception: Domina Illustris" (Routledge 2013), a Festscrift honoring the career of Professor Judith P. Hallett of Classics.
