We are proud to announce that Dr. Eric Adler has been promoted from Assistant to Associate Professor with tenure, starting in fall of 2015.  Dr. Adler has been at UMCP for two years; he came to us from Connecticut College, where he taught for five years and served as chair of the Classics Department.  Dr. Adler holds a Ph.D. in Classical Studies from Duke University, an M.A. in Classics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a B.A. in Classical Languages and Theater from Connecticut College.  His special fields of research are Greco-Roman historiography, Roman imperialism, and classical reception.
