Hallett awarded 2017-2018 ICCS residency

The Department of Classics is very pleased and proud to announce that Professor Judith P. Hallett has been named the Suzanne Deal Booth Scholar in Residence at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome. In taking up the role of resident scholar, she joins a list of such influential classicists as Richard Talbert of the University of North Carolina, Erich Gruen of the University of California at Berkeley, and Susan Stevens of Stanford University.

Hallett will be resident in Rome for one week in the next academic year. During that time, she will give a lecture, visit classes, and join excursions with faculty and students at the center and elsewhere.
