Jonathan Clark (B.A. 2018) writes:  "Im taking the CUNY Upper Level Greek program and I've been enjoying it a lot. After a weeklong review working through all of Hansen and Quinn, we've read Lysias 1, Plato's Meno and Sophocles' Ajax with selections of Thucydides and Pindar remaining. It's been a fast-paced yet rewarding experience so far. I'm also happy to share that I was awarded a Floyd L. Moreland scholarship from CUNY as well as departmental funds from Tulane to attend this summer program. This fall, I'm looking forward to taking seminars on Horace, Greek Lyric, and Roman Sculpture while continuing coursework in German. My plan at the moment is to apply to PhD programs in the fall."Jonathan and fellow alumnus Elliott Rebello (also B.A. 2018) delivered a paper with Professor Emerita Judith Hallett at the "Consortium on Women, Marriage and the Household from Antiquity to the Present:  A Day-Long Conference on Women and Healing," which took place on February 18, 2019.  Their presentation was entitled "Male Infertility and Impotence in the Roman World: A Reconsideration."
