Staley recognized, praised for Mentorship

Professor Gregory Staley has been honored as a Faculty-Mentor by a Philip Merrill Presidential Scholar. He was recognized by Senior Linguistics and Persian Studies major Joshua Weaver, one of the 2016-2017 Philip Merrill Presidential Scholars in the College of Arts and Humanities. Weaver lauded Staley's approach to the humanities, particularly "how he managed to always make the humanities 'human.'" More information about the honor and the program can be found here.

Professor Staley is both Professor of Classics and the Director of the Honors Humanities program at the University of Maryland.
