Undergraduate Elliott Rebello elected NSCL Vice President

Junior Classics major Elliott Rebello has been elected the vice president of the National Senior Classical League at the 2016 National Junior Classical League convention in Bloomington, Indiana. Rebello, who also has a double major in neurobiology, has attended the annual conventions of the NJCL since 2012. Since then, he has hoped to be elected to the national board of the senior league. While at the convention, he also hosted the NJCL talent show, called That's Entertainment!

Rebello attended the convention with support from the Department of Classics and from the William and Sylvia Gerber Latin Pedagogy Fund, created by a generous gift of their son Louis Gerber.
