Join us for the 4th Annual UMD Modern Greek Studies Conference this fall!

Please save the date! On Saturday, October 24th 2020, from 1-4pm, UMD faculty and students of the Modern Greek Studies program will present papers discussing the impact of Ancient Greece in the shaping of Modern Greek Identity from the War of Independence to the present. It is sure to be a lively discussion!

Due to the ongoing pandemic, this will be a virtual event over Zoom. Please contact Dr. Polyvia Parara (email: pparara@umd.edu) for more information regarding the conference and the Zoom invitation link. We can't wait to see you there!
