Emily Mohr wins De Luca Award

Emily Mohr, who received her M.A. in Classics from the University in May, is the 2015 recipient of the Elena and Antonio De Luca Award, a scholarship offered by the Italian Cultural Society (ICS) of Washington D.C. that supports an undergraduate or graduate student who has excelled in the study of Latin and/or Greek.

Emily will spend her summer as a volunteer at the Excavations of the Athenian Agora, sponsored by the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA), and will continue her study of Classical antiquity in the Ph.D. program at the University of Toronto this fall.
