Professor Hallett to Receive Lambda Classical Caucus Activism Award

Professor Judith P. Hallett of the University of Maryland, College Park, Classics Department is the recipient of the 2015 Lambda Classical Caucus (LCC) Activism Award.

Professor Judith P. Hallett of the University of Maryland, College Park, Classics Department is the recipient of the 2015 Lambda Classical Caucus (LCC) Activism Award. The award is intended to honor an LCC member who has worked to promote the rights and well-being of sexual minorities in ways that go beyond the usual academic missions of teaching and scholarship within the past five years. The announcement will be made at the opening night of the annual meeting of the Society for Classical Studies on Thursday, January 8 in New Orleans.
