Avi Kapach
Prof. Avi Kapach received his PhD in Classics from Brown University in 2021, with his dissertation entitled “Contradiction and Truth in Euripides: A Study of the Trojan Women, Helen, and Orestes.” His research interests include mythical and oral narratives, Attic drama, Augustan poetry, and intellectual history.
Avi has presented papers at various venues, including the annual meetings of the Society for Classical Studies, in January 2021, and the Classical Association of New England, in March 2021. He has published an article entitled “The Art of Mythical History and the Temporality of the Athenian Epitaphioi Logoi” (Trends in Classics 12.2), and has other publications forthcoming.
In his spare time, Avi enjoys writing, drawing, and weightlifting.
