Charis Addai

Charis is a second-year M.A. student with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Classics from the University of Ghana, as well as a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Classics from Columbia University. His interests include Greek drama, reception studies, and public Classics. Charis' goal is to develop an informed, analytic, and critical understanding of the historical and cultural foundations of modern civilization, engaging in public-facing scholarship that has impact and also brings the African experience into the fold. Charis hopes to join other scholars in keeping the discipline exciting and fresh for the next generation of students.
