The UMD Department of Classics is holding its 8th Modern Greek Studies Conference on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Faculty and students of the Modern Greek Studies program will present papers on the ideals of Hellenism in Modern Greek poetry. A dinner reception will conclude the event.

The folk music ensemble of Spyros Koliavasilis and Mrs. Maria Paschalides will offer related musical intervals.
