Dr. E. Ashley Hairston, Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Wake Forest University, will be delivering a lecture on campus entitled "All Roads Lead: Why We Study Classica Africana." Dr. Hairston is the author of the award-winning book The Ebony Column: Classics, Civilization, and the African American Reclamation of the West (2013).

The talk is being co-sponsored by the departments of Classics, African American Studies, American Studies, History, and the Center for Literary and Comparative Studies in the Department of English.
