Jorge J. Bravo III, Assistant Professor in the Department of Classics, will speak on "Forging Identity in the Telephos Frieze of the Great Altar of Pergamon," with a response by Christopher A. Faraone, Frank Curtis Springer and Gertrude Melcher Springer Professor in the Humanities and Professor in the Department of Classics and the College, The University of Chicago.

The lecture will take place on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 5:30pm at Howard University  Please watch this space for the precise location, which has yet to be announced.

WAMS seminars involve a 20-minute presentation of a pre-circulated paper, followed by a 20-minute response, a discussion period, and a reception.
