The Complex Oedipus conference honoring Professor Gregory Staley was a success!

On Friday October 1st, the Department on Classics held a conference titled "The Complex Oedipus," honoring recently retired faculty member, Professor Gregory Staley. Speakers, including Professor Staley himself, kept the audience thoroughly engaged and interested while detailing stories of Oedipus in various locations such as Athens, Rome and Vienna.
