Congratulations to our 2024 Classics Graduates!

Graduates and Faculty at the 2024 celebration

The Classics Department celebrated the students who graduated this academic year.

The Classics Department held a celebration on May 22, 2024, to congratulate our graduating students this academic year. Family and friends were also in attendance.

Faculty celebrated Mary Catherine Contreras and Alex Houseman, who obtained their Master in Arts in Classics. Jack Faunce, Michelle Gu, Glen Higgs, Gabrielle Johnson, Maxximus Murray, and Molly Williams, who received their Bachelor of Arts this year, were also recognized .

Faculty awarded Clementine Bills and Shandi Li the Avery Prize for the most accomplished Latin student. Jack Faunce received the Hubbe Prize for the best ancient Greek student. The CAMWS award this year went to Mary Catherine Contreras, in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement in Classical Studies.

After the event, faculty met and conversed with the students' family members and friends to celebrate the graduates. Congratulations to all!
