Prof. Bucher Wins Provost's Excellence Award for Teaching

Prof. Gregory Bucher wins the Provost's Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty

The Department of Classics would like to congratulate Prof. Gregory Bucher, who was recently selected to receive the Provost's Excellence Award for Professional Track Faculty for his outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. 

Provost Rice wrote in her offer letter: "Your enthusiasm, rigorous curriculum, and engaging teaching style have significantly contributed to high enrollment and strong retention in the Department of Classics, earning you exceptional course evaluations and recognition as a model of teaching excellence."

Prof. Bucher's former and current students, and the faculty in Classics, can enthusiastically endorse the Provost's summary of his accomplishments.
