Prof. Katherine Wasdin delivered a paper on "Trojan Cybele and Roman Women" at a conference on Women and Ritual Acts, sponsored by the Temple/Carleton Consortium on Women, Marriage and the Household from Antiquity to the Present. The conference, organized by Karen Klaiber Hersch and Jaclyn Neel, took place at Temple University's campus in Rome from May 12-14. In addition to a full line-up of fascinating papers, the conference included a gallery exhibition, a guided visit to the Epigraphy Museum, and a discussion with author Dacia Maraini (pictured in the blue jacket).
